In 1997's The Borrowers, Jim Broadbent starred as the father of a secret family of four-inch people who lived in the walls and floors of a house under the threat of destruction by an evil real estate developer.
Costume worn by Jim Broadbent as Pod Clock in The BorrowersThis 'Pod Clock' costume from the movie adaptation of Mary Norton's famous novels was designed by Marie France and was photographed on display at the London Film Museum on May 15, 2012 (although I think the belt is undone at the front of the outfit).
The Borrowers movie posterIn addition to the costume they also had a large selection of oversized props, like this Toby Jug, from the film on display used to creative the giant-sized world of The Borrowers.
