Her last big breakthrough failed to shatter any records when Fox spy thriller Asset failed to make it past the pilot stage but Ali Larter has a spring in her step again.
The actress looked positively chirpy as she shopped in West Hollywood on Tuesday after it was announced that she's scored a key role in a pilot by the creator of Homeland.
The 36-year-old has been cast as the female lead in Howard Gordon's TNT pilot, Legends, opposite Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings alum, Sean Bean, 53.
And on Monday, she Tweeted: 'Working with Ned Stark is like sitting in on a master class,' in a reference to Sheffield-born Bean's Game of Thrones character.
The British acting legend is seasoned thespian after being educated at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
In the spy show, produced by Homeland's Howard Gordon, Larter will play Crystal, an operative who initially opposes Agent Martin Odum's (Bean) return to their task force.
Supermodel Amber Valletta, Steve Harris, Rob Mayes, and Tina Majorino will also appear in Legends.
The young mother, who gave birth to son Teddy two years ago, enjoyed huge success with Heroes after bagging the role of dual personality, Niki Andrews.
