No stranger to the world of Instagram, Rihanna has proved that she loves nothing more than showing off pictures of herself.
But one thing she holds higher than her ability to take a good self portrait is her birthplace.
And combining the two, on Sunday the 24-year-old uploaded an image of herself taken from her tourism campaign for the island of Barbados.

The campaign – which includes a promotional video – is the second part of an advertising drive, launched by the Barbados Tourism Authority, seeking to capitalise on the global fame of the Caribbean island’s most celebrated figure.

Ready to brave the chill of the city, the singer wore a large fur jacket which featured burnt orange leather sleeves as she strutted through the terminal.
Showcasing her newly cut pixie crop complete with blonde highlights, Fenty hid her eyes behind a pair of blacked out sunglasses.

Not quite on an exotic safari, the Stay songstress asked her driver to stop the car so she could shoot through the window on busy Sunset Boulevard.
Rihanna was obviously proud of her efforts, posting the scenic picture on Twitter for her fans to see with the caption: 'Mondayz'.
